The IMT recruitment website has just had an update of information to be relevant to 2026 recruitment. Additionally, we have published the Applicants’ Guide, which can be downloaded from the document library.
The website has detailed information to help you throughout the process, whilst the guide gives a summary to IMT recruitment and is a good starting point for those who want an overview first.
If you cannot find the answer to a query, we have published lots of FAQs to answer the most common queries but if you need further help please contact us by submitting a query to our support portal.
Interviews and dates
All interviews for IMT will be held online and will take place throughout the period between 12 January and 13 February, the exact dates will be published to the dates & posts section of the website; although it is anticipated that there will be interviews held on most days (Monday to Friday) during this period.
Post numbers
Provisional programme numbers will be published to the dates & posts section of the website prior to applications opening. IMT numbers are normally quite similar from one year to the next, so you can review the fill rates from previous years in the Document Library for an indication.
Application scoring
The application scoring matrix for IMT recruitment in 2026 has been confirmed.
One round only
In recent years IMT has filled all posts in the first round and so there are no plans for a second round this year. We urge anyone interested in an IMT programme starting in 2026 to apply in the first round.
