The IMT recruitment website has just had an update of information to be relevant to 2024 recruitment. Additionally, we have published the Applicants’ Guide for round 1, which can be downloaded from the document library.

The website has detailed information to help you throughout the process, whilst the guide gives a summary to IMT recruitment and is a good starting point for those who want an overview first.

Interviews and dates

All interviews for IMT will be held online.

Round 1 interview dates will take place throughout period between 2 January and 16 February, the exact dates will be published to the dates & posts section of the website; although it is anticipated that there will be interviews held on most days (Monday to Friday) during this period.

Post numbers

Provisional programme numbers will be published to the dates & posts section of the website prior to applications opening. IMT numbers are normally quite similar from one year to the next, so you can review the fill rates from previous years in the Document Library for an indication.

 Application scoring

The application scoring matrix for IMT recruitment in 2024 is currently being finalised and we anticipate this will be no later than Wednesday 4 October. It is anticipated that any changes will only be minor amendments to provide more clarity on some of the scoring options.  

Round 2

It is not anticipated that a second round will be required and we urge anyone interested in an IMT programme starting in 2024 to apply in round 1. This will be reviewed after applications close for round 1 and should it be decided a second round may be required, a news item will be published.
